Shots - a cafe in ann siang hill

It was a rainy afternoon when we had our photowalk to Ann Siang Hill to explore one of the coffee shop there, its called ‘Shots’. It was a small yet cosy place to have a cup of coffee, spend time to read books and chit chat with friends. We had our cappuccino, hazelnut latte and chocolate muffin for our merienda.

Everytime i got to spend a vacation in the Philippines, never will i forget to spend time with my best friend for 15 years, Zhyra. We will spend the whole day talking, laughing, eating etc. to catch lost bonding time with each other. It was my request to her that we should go to Chelsea because i found it interesting try their mouth watering cakes. But unfortunately we are too full that we cannot ate a slice of cake so we decided to have a tea time. I found the place cozy and very inviting so i would like to go there again and tried the food they serve with my best friend Zhy.

Engagement Shoot: Edison + Romaliza

When my sister was here in Singapore, she always talks about “Anne Curtis”, chatting with “Anne Curtis” and hang-out with “Anne Curtis”. So one time I asked her who is Anne Curtis? And she described her as if I already met her before and she showed me ‘Anne Curtis’ Facebook account. I’m not convinced that she’s “Anne Curtis” look alike because she looks like “Angel Locsin”. :) The celebrity look alike I am mentioning is none other than Romaliza Manlapaz, she is my sister’s friend

My sister told me that Edison and Romaliza “Ohmai”  is getting married and they want to have a pre-nup photo shoot here in Singapore. I was happy when I heard that because it can be an opportunity for JEFF-anne photography to make our dreams come true, enter the world of photography.
Sometime in the month of May while I was busy browsing in my facebook  Ohmai chat me and asked if we can photo shoot the two of them and I answered right away “sure” with my eyes so big and my heart pumping fast and thanking God hearing our prayers, Yes this is it! J So we talked about the arrangement, the dates, the concept, the location, etc.

The engagement shoot with Edison and Romaliza was last 24 July 2011 held in CBD of Singapore. The main concept came from the couple they want a “Pajama in the City” concept. Yes, you read it right “Pajama in the City” hahaha . It was fun and hilarious, I salute the two of them for their confidence, winner! Havey na havey! Hahaha The couple make it easy for us to photo shoot them, they are so bubbly and fun to work with. From Merlion park up to Marina bay Sands and lastly in Mandarin Oriental Hotel. we had our ‘alay lakad sa singapore at samahan pa ng nerbyos factor’ sa Mandarin Oriental Hotel, hahaha. It was a fun-filled experience for JEFF-anne photography to know and worked with the two bubbly couple. We could say that we found new friends from each of us and that was most important.

Yana Larazeva

I joined my fourth photo shoot session organize by Paul Eric Reodique aka "St. Paul" of MASP, held in Fort Canning with her beautiful Russian model: Yana Larazeva. Yana has an angelic and photogenic face that makes us photographer entice by her real beauty while capturing her. She is very coy yet gave us the photos we like to take. 

This time, St. Paul made me realized and encourage me to know how to make a model posed for me. He's telling me that i should learn that so i could captured the photos i like and have a lot of "keepers" to add in my portfolio. I should be more observant and keen in all the model pose i saw in the ads, internet and magazines. So for the next organize photo shoot i will join, it will be more easy to get the photos i like.
