Richard Buan Photography, first came to our mind when we are listing down our prospective supplier for our wedding. Few years back, we are already following his post. We love how he shoot the subject, the sharpness, clarity and vibrant colours of the photos.

We don't have a hard time communicating with him through e-mail and he quickly send our contract when he received our down payment. We got his basic package that includes:

•  2 photographers
• DVD containing all high resolution files
• 40 pages 8" x 10" Premium Leather Album

We know that they will deliver good service on our special day. :)

HMUA: Val Villarin

Today, i finally booked my HMUA: Val Villarin. I found out about him through w@w community that shares everything and anything about wedding preparation. Of course, there are positive and negative reviews about him but when I checked his facebook account to see his previous works I liked it. Some hmua that I searched was not consistent in their final product. I only had 2 option Val Villarin and Gold Magtoto, both of them I felt the 'this is it' feeling but apparently Gold Magtoto was not replying to my email and message in fb. I thought she was not available on my wedding date only to find out this afternoon when she replied to my message said she just arrived from a trip to Hongkong. But apparently i already booked Val Villarin this morning.

I thought I couldn't booked Val Villarin as well, when I told him I'm going to transferred my down payment on Monday (24 Feb. 2014), he told me that he cannot pencil booked my wedding date because there was an on-going bridal fair at Megamall for 3 days. I understand his part that its priority but that made me sad. I only had 2 option but both of them i don't have a chance to booked them. But Val Villarin gave me a little hope when he told me to message him again on Monday if ever his still available. And yes, i had a big smile this morning when he gave me his bank details to transferred my down payment to his account. Thank God, I don't need to searched and worry who would be my HMUA.

Valentines Day

Love is in the air! It's Valentines Day! For consecutive years my beloved never fail to make me feel special on this day. This year, when I woke up I saw bouquet of flower on the dining table, what a beautiful and sweet morning! Suddenly, I felt I was on cloud 9. Suddenly, i want to sing and dance the rejoice commercial jingle ' haba ng hair... i felt so beautiful'. 

DIY: Pearl Bouquet

Pearl bouquet was my first DIY for our wedding preparation. I used it and will use it for our engagement shoot. I was inspired to used a DIY bouquet because we're going to have a series of DIY engagement shoot as well. H2b was very supportive and helpful when we're doing it, actually he did 85% labour for this one. 

Materials used:

1.) 2 types of pearl: Medium size gold pearl and small size blue pearl.

2.) Brooch

3.) Wire

4.) Plastic flower (used as guide)

5.) Ribbon

Back track to 2013: Christ the King Church

Christ the King Church was our first choice. We booked it on 8th of November 2013. Although we had some list of Churches to choose from including 

• San Sebastian, 
• Our Lady of Consolation Parish, 
• Mt. Carmel, Parish of the Hearts of Mary & Jesus (Twin Hearts) and 
• St. John Bosco Parish

We considered the convenience for us and for our guests. It is located in Green Meadows Avenue lying within the boundaries of EDSA, Ortigas Ave., E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Bonifacio Ave., Katipunan and White Plains. 

Christ the King Church trunk line is always busy, you need a lot of patience in able to contact them for inquiries. Since we are both overseas couple, we asked h2b sister to call them on our behalf regarding our wedding date if its still available. Unfortunately the date that we wanted, 20th of December was already fully booked, even-though it was more than a year to go. So, we decided to move it on 18th of December 2014 and it was available. We asked h2b sister to went there to pay the initial payment for reservation. Thank God we got the Church, date and people who do some errands for us. 

Back track to 2013: The Proposal

As i mentioned to my previous post that I was excited for this year, its because I am tying a knot to my long time boyfriend. :) Yes, he proposed last October 26, 2013 on my birthday. I was extremely happy and excited at the same time. I cannot contained the happiness I was feeling that night. Never thought that night will become memorable and will be another milestone of my/our life. That night was the marked of a new beginning for us to open another chapter in our life. :) I'm a happy bride to be.

Hello 2014

Its been a year since i logged in and told myself to blog again this year. There's always a new beginning each year and time for improvements. 2013 made me busy in my work and a lot of day dreaming :)

Well, hello 2014! I'm so excited for the wonderful journey you will bring to me.
